Artificial Intelligence and EdTech
Science and research
Objective: To highlight the relevant domain (educational technologies) and the importance of UI/UX in serious products.
The online education (EdTech) market is booming. But modern platforms for selling courses have gone far from simple business card sites with a video player. Today, these are complex ecosystems, in the development of which students and graduates of our department are actively involved.
Business logic and architecture
Creating a marketplace of courses requires flawless architecture. The developer should consider a system of transactions, share sharing (for example, automatic calculation of the percentage of sales between the platform and the author of the content), secure video storage and protection against piracy. This is a job for strong backend specialists.
Visual code of trust
Design is critical in EdTech. If the platform looks motley and childish, the user will not trust it with their money and time. A modern educational product should look technological and expensive. The trend is strict IT minimalism: dark themes, deep shades of purple and indigo, neat neon accents and glass morphism. The interface should tell the user, “This is where the future technology is created.”
The role of AI in education
Neural networks are already a game changer. On the basis of the Polytechnic University, the possibilities of introducing AI into the educational process are studied: from smart assistant bots that help with laboratory ones to neurogymnastics and adaptive testing systems. Developing such platforms is an ideal training ground for students to apply Full-stack development and machine learning skills to real, live products.
